I gotz skillzz

I hate scrapbooking. Period.
End of story.
kthxbye.

I use to try to do it, but I am so not a scrapbooker.
For my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary, all of their posterity was suppose to make a scrapbook page of our families. No big deal, right? Umm... totally big deal.

Member? I hate scrapbooking.

I finally decided to give a try at digital scrapbooking. Can't be that bad, right? No glue, no stickiness, no cutting, no expensive paper and makers and stickers. Just my favorite computer. That's all!

It was kinda fun. Shh.. don't tell anyone. I don't think I will start scrapbooking anytime soon, but I am proud of the pages I made. :) I thought I would share.

Sorry for the blur out... but you know the drill.
Thanks in advance for telling me how sa-weet my skillzz are. ;)

I wish today were more like this...

I love the rain.
The clouds look like they really want to... so come on! Just do it!

My brother rocks.

So Jace, my awesome brother, volunteered to come over and till up our yard. He spent all day on Friday moving rocks, tilling the yard and trying to pull out our lilac tree. We totally appreciate him! We are now one step closer to a sprinkler system and LAWN! YAY! Someday we'll get there.

He also tried to help Dustyn put up our swamp cooler, but it doesn't quite fit yet, so we'll still working on that.
But I am SO excited to have a swamp cooler this summer!
Thanks Jace! We owe you!

Life at the Circus

Last week (okay, maybe it was a week and a half ago) Dustyn and I had the opportunity to go see Cam in her first grade program. Where they live, the program is a huge thing. They have had the same program for like 30 years. (i don't really know how long) They do a large circus... all out with stilts and all!  :)

It was fun to go up and visit. It was a real quick trip though. The sad part... we got stuck in construction traffic. Cam was the 2nd act. We pulled into the high school and I called my sister to figure out how to get in. Cam was just heading on stage to preform. We tried to hurry as quick as possible but got to the gym as she was walking off stage. I was pretty bummed we missed her main performance. It was still fun and she did a fabulous job! Here are some pictures from the event.

(Cam is the one on the back row in white with the white feathers on her head! :) )
Thanks for inviting us Cam! We are so proud of you! We love you!

disappointment.

This was the forecast last tuesday.
actual: one day of rain.
total disappointment.
(funny thing... the rain was on Friday.)

the Twinsies!

It's been awhile since I have posted pictures of M & M!
Here are a few.
(this is what I get when I pull out the camera and point it at M. She's got the Chandler Syndrome. :) )
They are growing so fast and are changing everyday.
We spend a lot of time playing, tickling, and running.
Lots of fun times.

A Happy Birthday Lick in the ear!

Cause I am cool like that.
(of course you already know that)
Happy Birthday Buddy!

You still aren't sure what fat sticks are?

Let me introduce you to the awesomeness that is Fat Sticks.
(i could easily eat them all myself... it's hard to share)
And some pizza with fresh tomatoes and green olives. Yep, that's right... Green Olives. Yum!
Dustyn took me to Fat Jack's (Roy's Pizza) last night. It was so good. We can't go to Ephraim and not go to Fat Jack's. Where else would you eat? The Malt Shop? :P

Thank goodness for random meetings in Ephraim that Dustyn is required to go to.

I love me a package!

By now you all know my friend, Evonne.
She the next hot mommy blogger!
As a matter of fact, she was nominated for "Utah's Best Mommy Blogger".
Awesome!
If you would like to vote for her, or any other favorite Mommy bloggers like, Simple Me, the R House, Seriously So Blessed, Nie Nie, or another favorite (you can vote for three), go here and vote! I hope all my favorite bloggers win!

But speaking of Evonne, look what I got in the mail yesterday. She seriously rocks!

Wife's Day Weekend!

Yes, around here we have Wife's Day. No sense wasting a perfectly good holiday just because we don't have kids, right? We totally take advantage of the gift giving holiday! And, we do love our moms!
This is my mom on the Mexican Riviera Cruise that we took in February.
Dustyn's mom with her 20th grandchild (December 08)

We really have some great support systems that help us get through the tough times. It's great to have mom's. Happy Mother's Day!

For Wife's Day, Dustyn went to Goldsmith Jewelry and bought me a Pandora bracelet.  It did help that the fab Leisha gave away a gift certificate! (he would have bought me one anyways, but that just made it a bit easier to start! Thanks Leisha!)
(p.s. if you haven't seen the pandora bracelets, they are charms that you collect - they are super cute when you have a full charm bracelet! Here is an example:)
Dustyn also took some really nice pictures of flowers and had them printed for me. Now we just need to frame them and hang them, then I will post a picture.

He really is the best husband ever.

We went to Piute over the weekend and went camping. It was great as usual. Of course we went camping, since it was my choice on what to do for the weekend!
I think I took 5 pictures the whole trip...
Nope... SIX!
I have no idea what is up with the blue picture. It's lovely.
I was trying to get a picture of Dustyn painting.
