A POST!!

I know. It's shocking. I have been absent in blogging world for quite some time.
I have been a horrible blog reader/commenter/stalker and I am sorry to all my bloggy friends. But I hope to be better at it in the near future.

I haven't been on my computer as much lately. It's been nice. When I am on, I usually end up on facebook and plurk. My two favorite things.

Not a lot has been going on with us. We have been sick since we returned home from the cruise. It's been pretty bad. Dustyn is finally feeling better, but I am still on the mend. I have had a double ear ache and my ears are still so clogged that I am not hearing well these days. :P I can't wait to be back to my normal self. Free of cough, ear aches and mucus. Ew. I know. :P

Today we were able to go up to our nephew's farewell. Tanner is leaving on his mission here soon! We are so excited for him! He is going to Tucson, AZ - Spanish Speaking. He will be an awesome missionary! It was fun to get together with the family and see everyone!

I am currently making frozen yogurt! I am so excited and I hope it is good!  We'll see. I am hoping it tastes just like Red Mango. Ha ha! I can wish, huh? I'll let you know how it turns out.

We finally bought a fridge! YAY! I am so excited and I can't wait to get it. After we went and ordered it, we came home and got to thinking about our back door. Our door was super narrow. It was basically a closet door. 28 inches wide. We looked up the fridge and found out that we would at least need 36 inches to get the fridge in. Off to Home Depot we go. We ended up buying a 36 inch door. My dad was super nice and helped us put it in. It ended up being better than it could have been, but it was still a project. They ended up cutting into the wood siding to make it wide enough... and it made a lot of dust. My house is covered in dust. But it is so nice to have a nice door! I know it will help keep our house warm. I haven't felt like cleaning it all up yet though... so it's still a nice mess! :) Hopefully this week I will get over feeling sick and get my house clean! We'll see.

On Valentines day we were able to go up the Draper Temple Open House. It was absolutely beautiful! I think it is quickly becoming my favorite temple! If you have not had the chance to see it, you should! Anyone can go. It goes until the 14th of March. It is definitely worth seeing! After we went to the Open House we went to The Pie in SLC to eat. It was really yummy! I had never been to the restaurant and it wasn't what I was expecting at all, but it still was a lot of fun. Loud fun, but fun.

Last Tuesday we were able to go up to the Jazz game. We met Brandon and JaKell up there. It was lots of fun and I am glad we were able to go. They even won! Thank goodness. After all, they were only playing the Grizzlies. I was sad when I found out that Larry H Miller had passed away. He has done a lot of really great things for Utah. It sad how quickly his health declined.

That is about all that has gone on in the past few weeks. Just being sick and survivin'.  Hopefully I will get a chance tomorrow to talk more about the cruise and such.

Have a great week!

You're fine not blogging...I've been a slacker as well. Plus, you have a great reason to not blog - you're sick!

I hope you get feeling better soon. Have fun with your new fridge! At least you guys realized you needed a wider door BEFORE you tried to fit it in there.

I hope you guys get feeling better! Being sick is no fun! We haven't had the chance to go to the Draper openhouse yet...I don't know if we'll make it or not. Don't you just love the Pie? It's a way cool (and good) place to eat!

Fun to hear the update. Don't worry, I have been a totally horrible blogger lately, too. I'm totally addicted to Facebook now. I'm not sure why! I just sit on there and do nothing!

Miss ya! How you liking Idol?
