(yep, that's right. me and my gang. that is what is currently playing on the radio. since i can not come up with blog titles, that is what you get. :)
I am happy to report that our lasagna was good. Phew. I suppose it's better than steak in the long run. Plus, we get to have left overs for a week. (okay, so maybe that is just good for Dustyn) Next time I will plan to make lasagna when I have a bit more free time and I'll make it all on my own. This time I bought the sauce and stuff and that is why it was so expensive. It's okay now, though. I just happen to be the pickiest person alive when it comes to lasagna. I'm weird.
In other news, I successfully took a shower while Gage was awake today. It worked out rather nicely. I got his sippy, blanket, some crackers, his favorite trucks, turned on the radio and he played in his crib. I was surprised how much he enjoyed himself. He sang to the radio (so funny) and made sound effects for his cars. (I had the monitor in the bathroom with me) Between all that he kept saying, "Where'd mahi go?" Yep. That's me. Mahi. :) I went to get him out and he didn't even want to get out. As long as he doesn't decide to learn how to crawl out of his crib in the next little while, we're golden.
We are off to go find some leftover lasagna and maybe clean up a bit before daddy gets home. And then it's off to work for me. Woohoo! :P

lasagna
A few days ago Dustyn decided that he wanted lasagna for dinner tonight. Sure, no problem. I stopped by the grocery store last night on my way home from work and bought what we needed.
While I am excited to have lasagna for dinner, next time I think we will just go have steak at the steakhouse. It'd be cheaper. :P Either way, the lasagna is ready to go in the oven. It works out nicely since I have to work tonight and Dustyn has an opening social at the school. So we will both be gone. But, It will be ready when we get home. yum. It better be good! I could be having steak!
Work was pretty good yesterday. I had three students doing my job while I told them what to do. Nice. :) Sadly, today I get to do my own work. Boo. My main job today is to clean the auditorium. It takes forever and takes a toll on my body (so much vacuuming), but a job is a job! I really don't mind it though. I could, however, live without cleaning the boys bathrooms. *gag* Everyday I think, "AH!! I HAVE A BOY!" and then I hope and pray he has more respect for public property than some of the boys at the school.
I just looked over at Gage to make sure he was still playing nicely with his cars (he is right next to me)... he was going through feeling around the fireplace looking for lose grout and then trying to eat it. Gross. Who doesn't love chewing on pointy rocks. Where does he come up with this stuff?
I don't even know what other random things I was going to talk about. I've lost it all after running around trying to get the grout away from Gage as he tries to shove it in his mouth. Oh the adventures of a toddler.
Maybe I will come up with something later. Until then, I better start checking the grout.

Happy National Adoption Month!
Can you believe it's November already? Isn't Fall the best?
It's National Adoption Month!
Of course we love adoption at our house. We thank our Heavenly Father for it everyday. We also thank him for Gage's birth parents. We love them. We are thankful for Korin and the choice that she made. We are blessed everyday for her decision. We pray that her life has been blessed too.
I know we have done the question thing over and over... but if you have any questions about adoption that are lingering, feel free to ask them and I will address them over the next month!
We had a good Halloween! Gage was not interested in trick-or-treating. We went to Grandpa and Grandma's house twice and that was it. We tried to walk to the neighbor's house, but he was screaming for Grandpa, so we changed our course and went back to see Grandpa. I had to head to work, so that was our halloween! :) We didn't even get any candy.
Here are some pictures of our Superman!
