Ratatouille

So last night Dustyn and I decided to go to a movie... and since we live in Richfield, we had one choice. Ratatouille. I wasn't too excited to see it. I hadn't really seen the previews and I had no idea what it was about. But we went. I really really really liked that movie! It was cute and disturbing at the same time. But the animation was great. The story lines were... disturbing, but somewhat interesting. And I liked Collette the best! I want her haircut! In fact I just might go get her hair cut! :) But it wasn't anything like I thought it was going to be, and that was a good thing. But I would recommend anyone seeing it... especially if you wish you were a Chef... like I secretly do sometimes. It was a fun movie!

Colors!

Does anyone have troubles reading my blog because of the colors? On my computer the colors are vibrant and bright! The other day I looked at it on a few other computers and the colors were so dull and dark that there was NO way I could read it. So I was thinking maybe everyone is having that problem.

So I was finally able to look at the Apple Store. As I looked around, I just couldn't help but click the "add to cart" button. If only for a minute. For a few minutes, it felt like mine. Then as soon as it came, it left. Remove from cart.

iPhone

So the Apple iPhone is officially on sale and Gremlin forgot to meet her 6:00 deadline. Can we even get on the Apple website to sneak a peak? No. It freezes up! Come on Apple. Get a few more servers for the HUGE sale! Ha ha! Just kidding. Maybe in a few days it will calm down and I can look at the sold out iPhone and wish a little more.

Names!

So I know that the adoption is not official yet... and no matter how hard I try to hold in the excitement a little comes out every now and then.

So for all of you that have been guessing on the name of the baby... now would be the time to make your official guess. If you already know the baby's name, you are NOT allowed to guess! :) (Or you better come up with a good pretend name) This means you CamRee! (Oh yeah, and you earned your free visit). You can't tell anyone for another few days! You are the best secret keeper ever! I could trust you with ANY secret! I love five year olds!

The one who gets the closest will get 10 points and maybe a free visit with the baby. The rest of you will have to pay the admission fee at the door (I have to get an iPhone somehow!). If anyone else cares to venture a guess on the weight, time and date of the baby, feel free. I might have a few more free visits, but I will check on that and let you know.

By the way... has anyone ever used or knows how well AT&T works in Sevier County (Richfield)? I would hate to get a new phone and not be able to use it! The map that AT&T shows says that is should work. It has the same coverage as Verizon Wireless. Just wondering!

Today is Hilary's due date!

Wow! I can't believe it is here! Today is the day that Hilary is due with Gremlin! We are so excited and can't wait until she is ready to meet the world.

It seems like not too long ago that we found out that we were expecting. Then holding our sweet Hannah in our arms. And then filling out paperwork for adoption and doing the homestudy trying to get ready to adopt a baby. Then trying to get the nursery ready for a sweet baby. Then picking out the stroller, carseat, crib, diaper bag and all the many assessories for a baby. Waiting and waiting to get that phone call or that one special contact. It all seems like not long ago. But it feels like we have been longing to have a baby in our home for an eternity.

Could this really be it? Could we finally have a sweet little girl in our arms? Soon? A baby to love? A baby to steal our attention? A baby to change our lives forever? Is the wait finally over? Can we finally open our heart and love a special little life? More than we can even imagine?

We hope and pray that things will work out and that our hearts will be healed. We keep waiting for the phone call to tell us that everything is ready for us in Pennsylvania and that our beautiful daughter is there waiting to leave her wonderful mother to make the long trip home to Utah. Hilary, who gave her life. Someone who our little sweetheart will look up to and admire for life. Will it happen today? Tomorrow? We don't know. But the excitement and anxiety is almost too much to hold in.

Hilary. We love you and can't wait to see you. We admire your strength. Your love. Your courage. Your heart. Your compassion. Your understanding. Your patience. You.

Flat Tire!

Today Dustyn and I decided to drive to Salina to go eat at El Mexicano. On the way over... something suddenly started banging. Yes, that's right! Flat Tire! I hate that. So we pulled over and pulled all the tools out of the trunk and changed the tire. There was quite a large hole on our tire. Must of found a nail or screw or something.

You know what is really nice about Toyota's? They all come with a normal tire! So Nice! No donuts or going 35mph on the freeway! Just switch tires and walla! Except for the fact that we are going to have to go buy 4 new tires tomorrow. Well really I think we could patch that tire and get a little more... but then again, I think we need new tires! They are looking pretty sad. Except the one new one!!

Happy Birthday Mattie!

Uncle Matt and Aunty Amy's Mattie turned one today! Yay! I can't believe how fast time flies. I am sure that time will fly by faster once we get our own baby! I am super excited!

Hilary's due date is tomorrow! We are still hoping that things turn out as planned! :) I can't believe it is already time! Wow!

Cinnamon Spaghetti Sauce anyone?

Tonight we decided to have Spaghetti. Of course we pulled the trusted jar of Ragu traditional sauce out of the pantry. Yes. I am lazy. I use to make my own sauce, now I am lazy. But we always eat the same kind of sauce. I really like it. Add a little cheese and a few spices, walla! Yum! So Dustyn pulled out the sauce and started warming it while I was cleaning the fridge. Suddenly a cinnamon aroma filled the kitchen. We smelled the freezer and the candle on the stove checking to see where it was coming from. We figured it had to be the candle. It is a Christmas one of sorts, but it is always on my stove, so it doesn't really smell anymore. So we think nothing more of it.

I get my plate of pasta with cheese and sauce. I take a big bite. Wait, did I put apple sauce on my Spaghetti or spaghetti sauce? Yes, that is right. Our sauce had a cinnamon flavor. Either thy messed up the recipe and thought they were making apple sauce or we will have to find a new brand. I mean it was okay, but far to sweet and dessert like. Weird.

Publishing a blog!

When you write a blog and type in the Word Verification letters, does it show an error on the first time no matter what? Mine ALWAYS does. I have to do it twice everytime. I was just wondering if anyone else had that issue. It annoys me. I guess it sure does keep the spammers away!

My most hated chore!

So one of my most hated chores ever is cleaning the fridge. Not so much the throwing out the food and old stuff, but the soapy warm water cleaning. I would be embarrassed to tell you how long it has been since I have cleaned it really well. Sure it gets quick clean every now and again... but when it comes to cleaning the fridge, I'd rather clean the bathroom!

But guess what I did today? I cleaned the Fridge! YAY! I am so excited to have it done and the fact that I don't have to do it for another 6 months, uhm... I mean another month.

I just need a new fridge, then maybe, just maybe i would enjoy cleaning it!

The Twins.

Tonight Dustyn and I are watching Chelle's twins. They are so cute and have grown up so much! I got Mylee laughing and I tried to take a picture, but she was jumping around and I couldn't get a good picture with my cell phone, but she was so cute. Malik has been smiling all night. He likes Dustyn. Mylee seemed to like me, so it worked out nicely. It's been fun to watch them.

Friends

Last night Ryan and Melissa invited us over to have steaks and BBQ. It was a fun night. Dinner was great. We made root beer shushies for dessert and ate a whole box of cream puffs. It was fun to just relax and not worry about anything. Ryan an Dustyn played Guitar Heros and Melissa and I talked. Her kids are super cute! They have three now. We also got a tour of their house. It is really nice and I think that I need to hire her as a decorator. But it was a really nice evening and I look forward to doing it again!

Sunshine and Summertime!

We had a good weekend up at Fishlake. On Friday we ate, sat around the fire, roasted marshmellos and sang songs. It was fun to spend sometime with the kids. They have grown up a lot since the last time I saw them. Hadi has a lot of funny things to say. Last time we saw her she wasn't talking much... so it's been a lot of fun.

On Saturday we took the paddle boat out and paddled all over the lake. Dustyn and I took kids out on a few long rides. Then after we had exausted ourselves we took the boat out a fished for a few hours. It was a lot of fun. We were only catching the small planters... but they were still fun. The only problem was that when we were putting sun screen on, Dustyn neglected his knees (because his shorts covered them) and I didn't put any on my legs. What were we thinking. We are burnt crisp. I don't remember the last time I had a burn like this. My legs never burn... but I guess this time they did. I even took extra care to wear a hat so my head and face didn't burn. :P Saturday night we set up all the movie equiptment and watched "Open Season" on the side of a trailer. Fun times!




On Saturday we went to Church at the Lodge and then came home. It was a good weekend. We tried to make Frozen Yogurt with Dustyn's new Ice Cream maker, but it didn't really turn out well.

Since we won't be around tomorrow!

The one where no one's ready

Ha ha! We have been watching the F-R-I-E-N-D-S DVD's lately. This has to be one of my favorite episodes. So funny. I just had to share! HA HA!

Fun at Grandma and Grandpa Farnsworth's house!

We went over to visit the kids again tonight. Grandma and Grandpa Dotson where over there as well. It was a lot of fun to see everyone. Jace and Tina were there too.

Hadi, CamRee, Tryen, Dustyn and I had lots of fun on the Trampoline! Fun times! Tryen LOVES Camo and takes him EVERYWHERE!

HadiLee. She likes to wear her shoes on the wrong feet! Too cute! She has been so funny! She is talking so well and says all kinds of funny things. She has changed a lot since we have seen her last. She cracks me up!

JaKell and the kids came to visit until Saturday! We were excited to see them! We decided to have a little fun with PhotoBooth... I would have to say Hadi was the funniest one, but she wouldn't hold still long enough to get a picture and wasn't quite sure about it.... so CamRee was willing to step up! Of course!
