Wanna hang with us? ;)

We have had a pretty low key summer. We've had quite a few photo sessions and they seem to keep us busy. Luckily, it's a lot of fun.

Gage is growing fast. He is learning so much everyday. He talks like crazy and repeats mostly anything. He is a busy, busy boy. I can barely keep up with him.

I can't believe school starts in a couple of weeks. Dustyn starts a week from today. Crazy.

I am bummed we didn't get to go on a vacation this summer, but I am excited that we are going to Ottawa for Sarah's wedding in October! I can't wait.

Mostly our summer has consisted of getting Dustyn's Photography business up and going. We've been trying off and on for the past few years, but we are finally there and finally ready to be serious. It has been awesome. We've been in the middle of three weddings. They are a lot of work, but the most fun of all the sessions. I love being part of such an exciting and special day.

If you want to check out his current work, you can check out his blog. dustynallen.com and his instaproofs site. (You have to enter your email to view them, but that is just for email reminders to purchase prints before they go offline. You can opt out of the emails if you want to. Feel free to view all the sessions!)

He also has a facebook page! Right now we are having a giveaway for a free session once we get to 100 fans. So... go like his page! We'd love to hang out with you and snap a few photos! :)

I hope your summer has been awesome. I hope to be back to blogging. Eventually. But, right now I am still looking for a job. boo. Sometimes I hate being a responsible adult.

We need to get new family pictures taken, and were just deciding who we wanted to take them, when we saw your blog. I would love more details, like what he charges, and what you get and stuff. I will give you a call.

Weddings terrify me. Lol. I know I want to do them but part of me is absolutely terrified of messing up. My luck a card would suddenly bite it or something, haha. I'm a worry wart. Glad things are going well with getting things off the ground! :D

Dustyn's work is great! Good luck with getting the business going. I love weddings...they're so fun to shoot. Large family portraits are hard for me. nobody listens! LOL. Wish you lived closer so we could get a family portrait. We're going to be down there in November...how much is a sitting fee?
