Today is the day...

When all boys want to win the title. To be the best. To win the...

Pinewood Derby!
Of course, you don't need kids to race in the pinewood derby anymore.
Dustyn was so excited to get his new fancy pinewood derby car on the track to win against all the leaders. We'll see how it turns out. Of course there are pictures to come... as soon as the results are in. Wish him luck!

Me, me, me!

Yep, it's that time again.

I am kind of in a blogging slump and I need to get out.
Remember this post?
Yep, it's time to come up with more questions for me.
Anything you want to ask.
Anything you want to know about me, just ask.
I will keep it open for a week or two (depending on how fast ya'll come up with questions) and then answer them all in one post.
Basically a custom Meme.
Ready? Set? Go!

This is Van....

She is one of my e-bff Evonne's daughter. Isn't she too cute? I love it.
Here's the deal. She is entered into a Kiddieokee contest to win a Backyard Playground. This is where you come in. We need you to vote!

If you would like to vote for Van, go here and vote for contestant #20. She is listed in the 2-4 year old group. Once you vote, 97.1 ZHT will send you an email to verify your vote. You have to verify it in order for it to count. Voting ends on April 2nd at 12:00PM.

Thank you so much! I really hope Van wins the playground set! You rock Van!

Favorites, favorites, favorites.

Here are some of my most favorites at the moment.

I love, love, love this Blueberry Pomegranate Trail Mix Crunch. Love it.
So happy I found it at Costco. Yuuum.
It's a nice healthy snack that is not full of sugar and is somewhat healthy, if you don't eat the whole bag, which is really tough sometimes. Mmm.

I am a Tide girl all the way. I try new detergents out sometimes, but I just keep going back to Tide. I seriously love it.
But with my Tide, I have to have softener. I love a good smelling softener. (I am such a smelly person. (not in that way - come on people)  I LOVE smells.
I have TWO favorite Downy smells.
Vanilla Lavender
with Downy Sheets

and Cashmere and Silk Fresh. Oh, I love it.
and downy sheets
It makes laundry so much more exciting cause it smells so good! Mmm....

I have been LOVING the nice Spring air! I love that I can have my windows and doors open! It is beautiful! I can't wait for things to start greening up.

I never actually finished writing this post after a crazy busy day of yard work, but here you go! You can read the beginning of my post! :)

Random Coolness

Ask A Birth Mother

Mrs. R is asking a panel of birth mothers a series of questions. Feel free to tune in and learn more about adoption.

This week the questions were about Open Adoptions.

If you have a question, feel free to send them to Mrs. R and at some point, she will try to ask the panel your question.

Adoption is amazing! I am grateful to be a part of it.
Adoption is the reason I am "lucky" today.

Huh?

Oh your wondering what that was all about? Ha ha!
I thought I might try to register my phone (new feature that showed up today) so that I can post random things from my phone. That way maybe I will remember the things I want to blog.

Apparently it doesn't work so well. lol

I got a good laugh out of it.

At least I tired.

Go Jazz!

A few weeks ago we were able to go to the Jazz game with Brandon and JaKell. We had lots of fun and the Jazz even won! I think it was one of the first games that started their recent 12 game winning streak. It was just a few days before Larry H. Miller died.

Here are a few pics from the game.

Dust and Kam

Brandon and JaKell

We had pretty good seats.

And here I am trying to get a pic of my fav #8. But no... Deron wouldn't look at me. :( I mean... hello!! It's not like you have anything more pressing going on! (He is currently the NBA player of the week... just in case you were wondering) Sadly, not even Kyle Korver would let me get a picture of him. :P At least I got Kirilenko, right?

And that was our trip to SLC for the Jazz game! OH WAIT! We can't forget Chic-fil-a before the game. I love that place.

Ooooo.... it glows.

We got our new fridge yesterday and I am totally loving it!
It even fits better than I thought it would.
After all... it is a large fridge and I have a small kitchen. :)
Even better... it fit through the back door! YAY!

Now I just have to figure out how to fill it! It is so big, but I can see what I actually have! I love it!

We are hoping to get the water and ice hooked up soon and hopefully the filter will make our water taste better and drinkable. We have tried Britta filter before and they do work... as long as you don't let the water sit too long. So this way, it will be really nice to have cold water to drink. (not that I drink water. Ew.)

Anyways, just had to show it off. :)

Another adoption miracle!

Congratulations Tyson and Janeal!

r-r-r-random!

Things have been going well for Dustyn and I. Poor Dustyn has been quite sick lately. He has a doctors appointment today. I hope that they figure something out and get him back on to the road to health soon!

On a good note: Dustyn finally finished the yearbook! YAY! I know that will relieve a LOT of stress. Hopefully that will help him get better quicker as well.

We were able to go up the the Mt. Timpanogos Temple and attend Brandon and JaKell's sealing. It was a great experience and I was happy that we were able to go. The Temple was beautiful and peaceful! Dustyn was able to take some photos of Brandon and JaKell and family. We haven't downloaded them yet, but I am excited to see how they turned out. Dustyn had to get yearbook done before he could get to them. Dang responsibilities.

On Saturday night we went to the Desert Star Theater and watch Home School Musical. It was hilarious and I would totally recommend it to anyone. We love it. It was my first play at the Desert Star and I can guarantee it won't be the last. I am seriously tempted to get season passes next year. I really enjoyed it! Another random thing happened while we were there... They read birthdays of everyone there and sing a song for the them! One of the birthdays that they read was my Uncle Sheldon. (This was after the play was over) I would have never known he was there unless his name was read. They were on the very front row, so I ran down and said Hello! It was quite funny! And random!

I am SO ready for spring! Mostly just because I am itching to go camping! I can't wait for our weekly outings. It is for sure my most favorite part about summer. Otherwise I wouldn't mind the snow.

I am in the weirdest blogging mood lately. I want to blog, but I just don't want to! Ha ha! I am sorry I have not been reading/commenting on anyones blogs. I hope to get back into the swing of things soon. Maybe life will slow down a little and I will take time to blog.

Speaking of blogging and my last post (well... not the last one, but the Paying it Forward one) I have something coming together.. I will get it to you within the next little while. I am excited to see what you think! (As long as it goes how I want it to). If you are still interested in getting in on the action... leave me a comment and I will see what I can do.

Umm... that is all for now. :)

The blog scene.

I am so not in it.

I have not read blogs.

I have not written blogs.

I have not commented blogs.

I hope to get back in the blogging scene.

soon.

But until then, I might as well play along with Evonne and do a Pay it Forward Give-away!
So leave a comment and your email address and I will see what I can come up with. :)

So, here's the deal, be the first 5 people to comment on a this post, and you will get a lil' somethin', somethin' from ME!! =) The catch is this, YOU must now blog about this, and volunteer to give things to your first 5 commenters! It can be ANYTHING, nothin' expensive! A pay it forward game, fun huh?
If you didn't catch that...recap...
1. Be one of the first five people to respond to this post and you get a present, if that is what you want to call it, from me!
2. Re-post this on YOUR page for five of your friends! It's like a chain letter, only without the threats -AND- not annoying because you GET a present in the end.
3. AND hopefully one of my friends will do this, and I will get to comment and get a prize back. ;)
4. Oh, and make sure you leave your e-mail address!
Good luck!

Hope you are all well and kicking.
I have totally missed out on everything.
Catch me up!
:)
