crazy.

June has been crazy busy over here.

Camp Big Springs.
The Zoo with Korin.
Dinner up at Camp.
Commercial Art Workshops.
The Sweet Tooth Fairy.
Commercial Photography Workshops.
Dustyn's Birthday.
Father's Day.
New nephews.
Yearbook Camp.
Gardening.
Family Reunion in Boise.
Packing, unpacking, repacking, and unpacking just to repack. And then repeat three times.
And of course there is loading the car, unloading the car, loading the car to unload it. You get the idea. :)
Broken Sprinklers.
Jace and Katie's Sealing.
Photo shoots. (we have three weddings in the next little while. craziness!)
Lost a camera, won a camera (not for me. boo), broken laptop. boo.

And on and on.
We were home approximately 7-9 days during the whole month of June.
I am glad to be home.

It has been a looong month and I am glad it's july.

July = Best month ever.

We started it off right. (our town has the best 4th of July celebration. ever. does anyone else feel like that towards their town?)

Today we went to Cars 2. Completely enjoyed it. Even Gage like it. But, mostly he liked the Red Vine that helped distract him for the last 10 minutes. You think he got it good? You should have seen me. (oh yes, and his diaper was half off and falling out of his shorts! ha ha)

The Diaper Derby. Gage won the first heat (by running to someone else) and then came in third the next heat (because he was running to me. ha ha). I am sure next year he will beat all those kids in the older races. (do they do anything for 2 year olds?) I just can't believe I have my own reason to attend the diaper derby. It's awesome.

Flavorless Sno-cones. Is there anything better? :)

We are excited for it all to start again Monday.

Hopefully I get around to talking about the rest of the month. :)

our 4th (5th) of July

We had a fabulous Independence Day.

I love spending time with family and just enjoying being around each other. The 4th if definitely one of the best holidays for that. It's like Thanksgiving, but warm!

Gage wasn't so sure about the parade.

I think it was mostly the sirens that he was not fond of.

Of course, before long he was fast asleep.

After the parade, we headed to the park.
Gage loved lying on the grass and looking up at the sky.
He definitely had plenty of attention to keep him entertained.

Of course there were lots of smiles.
IMG_5595
And playing with his tongue.
IMG_5597
And snuggling with his blanket.

Then it was off to Grandma's house for a BBQ!

*cue poopy blow-out. at least we were at home*

More smiles, of course.
IMG_5647
And Gage even tried sitting up on his own.

He even made it for 5-10 seconds! :)

There was a lot of drool involved.
