So as you know, I have been having headaches for about a month everyday. I finally decided that just maybe if I were to get some prescription sunglasses. Maybe my eyes were just getting too tired from squinting in the bright sun. So we went to Lenscrafters and picked out some sunglasses. I was just hoping that they would fill them with my prescription on hand and we could get on with our day. Wrong. My prescription was two years old, so of course they required me to get a new eye exam. I hate eye exams.

So in the beginning they had me leave my glasses on and try to read some letters on a chart. Let's just say I could not read any of them. I thought... hmm... that's weird. Isn't that why I HAVE glasses? So we finish up the tests (including the glaucoma test with the puffs of air in your eye! I HATE that test!) and she has me take of my glasses and puts the chart up there. I could barely read the FP. How LAME is that?!?! So she reads my current prescription in my glasses and runs a test to see my basic prescription. Before I was a 1.5 in both eyes. She tells me that she is reading me at a 2.5. WHAT?!?! In the ten years that I have had glasses I have increased .25. That's it. And now all of a sudden a gain a FULL point? Blah! So long story short... we spent the entire day at Lenscrafters and I got new glasses. And... I CAN SEE!! I haven't had a headache since... and the world is BRIGHT again! SO wonderful!
But they did dilate my eyes and I hate that too. I looked like a freak all day and my eyes were so tired and sensitive to light.
Here are my new glasses!!

And my new sunglasses!!
So finally it is all over and it all makes sense. At least there was a happy ending to the story. (Not the two new pairs of glasses part, but the being able to see part!) NO MORE HEADACHES!! Yay!! (At least I sure hope so!!)
