What can we do to help?

You also may have noticed that my blog is no longer private...  well I had quite a large fan base that were not able to log in to see my blog!  Hopefully they have made it since it is a little easier to access.  (Hi Grandma and Grandpa!  Love you!)

(Hopefully this didn't cause any issues with bookmarks, etc.  I hate to be a pain.  :)  But I am feeling much better about being public again!)

smells

I think it is quite funny that not even once while I was baking yummy cookies did my house smell good like cookies.  No, no.  It smells like something nasty!  *gag*  I did make Clam Chowder the first day while I was making cookies, I guess that just ruined it.  Now my house smells funky and I just can't quite get rid of it.  Ew.

Just though you would want to know.  Ha ha!

Did I mention that I really hate having a private blog?  My daily blog reader visits have dropped 80+ percent.  (I got 10 readers on a day that I actually posted, you know a few of them were me! Ha ha)
I can only invite 100 people. (almost there)
There are still people stopping me around town saying, "I can't see your blog".  Then I am bummed.
My worries about having a private blog have passed and things are fine now.

I might change back, or complain about it some more.  Either way. :)

Thoughts

So, my camera . . . just doesn't take the pictures that it use to.  Is that even fair?  I mean it is only about 1.5 years old or so.  I really can't remember, but between one and two years old.  Why do cameras have to get crappy.  It still does just fine for me when I just wanna a point and shoot.  And when I want a nice picture, we always have the rebel.  So really, it's no big deal, just annoying.  It still does pretty well in the right light.  But isn't that with most point and shoots?  Light is everything.

I made about 15+ dozen of cookies yesterday.  I decided that cookies were easier and faster than candy.  I still have quite a few to bake today, so really I haven't made them all.  Hopefully I will get them done today.

I really need to get on my Christmas Cards!  This is the latest I think I have ever waited.  I am slacking!  I should at least be gathering addresses! In time.

I need to post a few more of Cyd's pictures so you can see what a great job Dustyn does.  He really is a great photographer.  We laugh though because you can tell he is an artist at heart and paints.  He tries to make the photos look more like a painting.  He tries to do a little of everything when he is editing.  Some realistic ones and some that he plays around with.  It's fun to watch what he comes up with.

We watched the funniest, weirdest movie the other day.  if you are in a really, really silly mood and anything would amuse you, you should rent "Stalking Santa".   It is pretty funny, but you have to be in the right mood.  It is a mockumentary.  Fun-nay.

I think we have rented 10 Christmas movies in the past two weeks.  (There are 6 at our house at the moment).  We watched Fred Claus and thought it was pretty funny and entertaining.  Not really what I was expecting.  And I can not stand Paul Giamatti as Santa Claus.  Maybe I am weird, but he just doesn't fit the description for me.  :)

I am totally over private.  I really hate it.  I mean I try not to put too much info anyways, so it shouldn't be a big deal.  And what I was worried about has passed.  I am so ready to go back to normal.  Good thing you didn't move your bookmarks, huh?  Ha ha!  We'll see.  

Coming up next:  Thanksgiving pictures!!  And who knows what else.

Ugh... I hate private.

So i am going with the trend and making my blog private for awhile. I know, I hate it.
Maybe I am way too paranoid lately. :P
But here is the deal. This blog will stay at this address. Every time I post something new, I will post the title and link here... that way you can leave all your links and bookmarks here and it will all work out nicely! Your RSS feed/Google Reader/Bloglines/Following (when you follow me again) will still work. It will just take one more click (oh yeah, and being logged in). I know it is a pain and I am sorry. Seriously... why do some people have to make life so complicated!
