Lazy Day

Today has been kinda lazy. We went to an Art Museum at the University at Johnstown. Then we went to downtown Johnstown to look for another Museum that was suppose to be on Main Street. We walked up and down main street and nothin. Apparently it is not there anymore. Now Dustyn is taking a nap. A long nap. I thought about going walking, but well... nah. I will just blog about it instead. Ha ha. Sadly enough, it's true. I need to get out more.

It has been a beautiful day here. The skies are blue and have pretty fluffy clouds. It is so nice and pleasant here. It got to 76 degrees today. So nice. I do not miss the blistering heat in Utah.

I just walked down to the lobby so I could sit on a real couch instead of the bed. And, it kinda looks like storm clouds are moving in, but the sky is super pretty. This picture isn't great, but you get the idea. I should have went and got the camera. My phone just doesn't take great pictures like it use to. Oh well.


We are hoping that Gremlin decides to come meet us today! I bet Hilary would be okay with that too. I can only imagine how uncomfortable she is. I do not envy her.

Happy Birthday Me!

So I am officially 28 now! Old, huh? I thought Gremlin just might make her apperance on this lucky day, but I guess she wasn't ready. That's okay! Who wants to share a birthday with their mom anyways? Ha ha. Just kidding!

We didn't do much today. Just drive around. The weather was nice today though! I am not missing the 100+ weather in Utah. Not excited to go back at all! Let alone the fire! Sheesh! Can you even breathe in the Valley? You'll have to go up North to get some clean air! Ha ha ha! Makes me want to come home. Ha ha.

iPhone

So the Apple iPhone is officially on sale and Gremlin forgot to meet her 6:00 deadline. Can we even get on the Apple website to sneak a peak? No. It freezes up! Come on Apple. Get a few more servers for the HUGE sale! Ha ha! Just kidding. Maybe in a few days it will calm down and I can look at the sold out iPhone and wish a little more.

Today is Hilary's due date!

Wow! I can't believe it is here! Today is the day that Hilary is due with Gremlin! We are so excited and can't wait until she is ready to meet the world.

It seems like not too long ago that we found out that we were expecting. Then holding our sweet Hannah in our arms. And then filling out paperwork for adoption and doing the homestudy trying to get ready to adopt a baby. Then trying to get the nursery ready for a sweet baby. Then picking out the stroller, carseat, crib, diaper bag and all the many assessories for a baby. Waiting and waiting to get that phone call or that one special contact. It all seems like not long ago. But it feels like we have been longing to have a baby in our home for an eternity.

Could this really be it? Could we finally have a sweet little girl in our arms? Soon? A baby to love? A baby to steal our attention? A baby to change our lives forever? Is the wait finally over? Can we finally open our heart and love a special little life? More than we can even imagine?

We hope and pray that things will work out and that our hearts will be healed. We keep waiting for the phone call to tell us that everything is ready for us in Pennsylvania and that our beautiful daughter is there waiting to leave her wonderful mother to make the long trip home to Utah. Hilary, who gave her life. Someone who our little sweetheart will look up to and admire for life. Will it happen today? Tomorrow? We don't know. But the excitement and anxiety is almost too much to hold in.

Hilary. We love you and can't wait to see you. We admire your strength. Your love. Your courage. Your heart. Your compassion. Your understanding. Your patience. You.

Update on Hilary!

So I am sure many of you are wondering the status of our Adoption. Well Hilary is doing well. She is 37 weeks now (right Hilary?). She is due on June 29th. Things are still going well and we are super excited!! So when we get the word that the baby is coming, we will head out to PA meet Hilary and pick up the baby! We are excited and can't believe how soon she is due! It came pretty fast! Only three more weeks and our lives will change forever!

Hilary is due at the end of June. We are getting super excited. :) She's going to come visit us for awhile. We are excited to have her come!

The best Mother's Day ever!

We have been talking to Hilary for a little over a month. She is the greatest! She is so funny and always makes me laugh! She is 20 years old and from PA. Well today, she decided that she would like us to raise her little girl! We are so excited and so happy! We love her so much and could never tell her how greatful we are about her decision. We will love her baby so much and will always let her know how much her Mommy Hilary loves her! We are so excited and have so much to do! YAH!!

We are going to go to PA on the 22nd to meet her. We are sooo excited. She is due in June! So soon! I better get busy!!
